Are you ready to become an engineer/mathematician?

                                   Mrs. Naszimento

                           4th Grade Science/Math Teacher

Welcome! I am very excited for the 2023-2024 school year. I look forward to making connections with students and parents, which will lead to better teaching and learning. I believe success happens when all the pieces fit together.

I live in Secaucus, NJ with my husband and two children. I have been a teacher for 15 years and this is my tenth year teaching at Theodore Roosevelt School. I taught third grade for eight years, and this is my seventh year in fourth grade. In my classroom, students will find themselves tinkering with objects and completing experiments to discover the joys of science/math!

Email is the best way to contact me. Please feel free to reach out to me at dnaszime@weehawken.k12.nj.us. You can also call the TRS office at (201) 422-6140.

In Our Math Classroom:

Students will be learning from the Envision Mathematics Curriculum, based on the NJ State Learning Standards.

The following topics will be covered during the 2023-2024 school year.

A very important aspect of 4th grade is that students have a solid foundation of their basic math facts.  Multiplication facts should be reviewed every night for students who are struggling with fluency. The following resources can be used for students to practice their math facts.
