Hi Class Parents! I can't believe the time has come - I am addressing you as future 4th Grade parents!

 

Your child was sent home with a few things today. First, you will find their report card in a yellow envelope, along with their room assignments for 4th Grade and DRA level.

 

Don't forget - the PTO is having a fundraiser for school supplies. If you purchase a pre-determined kit, you won't have to shop for school supplies over summer, and they will be delivered to your child on the first day of school.

 

Also - the PTO has given out little baggies for box tops. If you child collects 25 over the summer break, their name will be put into a raffle for a Barnes and Noble gift card. If they collect 50 box tops, their name will be put in a 2nd raffle for an amazon gift card.

 

It was a pleasure having your children for Writer's Workshop this year! I wish your children many successes as they move forward in their academic career.

Hi Parents! Here are some announcements for today - 5/21/2018.

 

1. An orange Bus Form was sent home to every student today. This is your child's bus application for the 2018/2019 school year. Even if your child is not taking a bus, every child must be accounted for - therefore, every child must return the form. Forms are due ASAP, but we are accepting them until 5/31.

 

2. The Fun Day plan has been sent home! If you're interested in volunteering, please read the form, fill it out, and send it in. Fun Day is June 7th, with a rain date of June 11th.

 

3. Test folders were sent home Friday. Please review the work, sign the folder, and return the signed folder and the work to school.

In light of the students taking the PARCC next week, I have signed up each child for Education Galaxy. This is a blended learning website that combines test prep and Reading, Language Arts, and Math skills. Students are free to access at home in order to prepare themselves for the test next week! If you are interested in having your students log in at home, please e-mail me so that I can send you their username and password.

 

Once students log in, they should go to My Study Plan to practice skills.

Hello parents! There is a slight change in Extra Help - there is no Extra Help on Thursday 5/3, but there will be a session on Friday 5/4 to make up for it.
